7. Assessment of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere with remote sensing technology in Thailand
(2016-2017)
Position Held: Spatial Data Analyst
Location: Thailand
Client: Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO)
Main Project Features: To study the pattern and methods for assessing greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere using remote sensing technology in Thailand, and to present the data on greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere of Thailand from satellite systems that have the capability to measure greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, including analyzing changes in the concentration level and distribution of greenhouse gases along with various factors that affect changes in climate conditions.

Main Duties: (i) Created a dataset of greenhouse gas quantities from satellite imagery. (ii) Studied and compared the correlation between greenhouse gas concentration data in the atmosphere layer with meteorological data and ground-based greenhouse gas measurement data. (iii) Created a set of maps showing the distribution and concentration level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. (iv) Provided technical training and arrange technical meetings for relevant personnel.
