4. Promotion of countermeasures against marine plastic litter in Southeast Asia and India (CounterMEASURE I)

Location: Country in the Mekong basin river, (Cambodia, Lao, Thailand and Vietnam)
Client: UN Environment Program (UNEP)
Main Project Features: The project aimed at identifying a region-based model for monitoring and assessment of plastic leakage and pollution reduction targeting land-based plastic leakage entering waterways such as rivers and canals or drainages to the sea.
Main Duties: (i) Developed a Mobile Survey Application I with ESRI Survey123 for the collection of data by local partners and did the training for mobile application (ii) GIS data management (iii) Part of the development of Geospatial Platform to visualize various input data, activities carried out during and final results of the project.
